(Formerly SIA Tactical US Pool)
Initially launched in 2017 as the SIA Tactical US Pool and later renamed in October 2019, SIAWM offers the ML Global Tactical Pool through an Offering Memorandum. This Pool utilizes SIA’s proprietary Relative Strength Analysis to select the top-ranked investments for the portfolio through various market environments. This enables the pool to pursue long-term capital appreciation while attempting to protect capital value from major stock market downturns.
The ML Global Tactical Pool primarily invests in North American Stocks and Global ETFs that exhibit strong relative strength characteristics. In addition, being an unconstrained mandate, the manager of the fund can provide potentially meaningful risk management strategies. SIAWM can remove all equity exposure when they determine equity conditions are not favourable and seek preservation of capital by investing the portfolio into non-equity positions such as cash and fixed income.
